Community rules

Nexus Empire is a home to minecraft players who want to meet new people and explore,

create and take part in activities and events. Our server has a peaceful and firm set of

rules that we enforce and hope that you can follow to bring safety and kindness to the

community and yourself.

Player interactions and provisions

We do not accept any form of harassment, bullying and threats. If acted upon will lead

to banning on all platforms. Do not share illegal and inappropriate content with players

or on platforms.(examples, server and discord or website that are linked to Nexus Empire). We do not tolerate any discrimination, racism, homophobia, sexism and violent choice of

words that are offensive.

Player and staff privacy

Please DO NOT share any personal information. regardless of prior consent, is strictly

prohibited.

This includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, photographs, and videos. This rule stands for any age.

Facecams and recording : If a player wishes to upload or record (livestream) on our

server they need to ask for permission and give context for its purpose and whether

they are using a facecam for the safety of themselves and the community.

When that player wants to upload it they will need to send the video to main staff

members to look over to make sure no rules are being broken.

If rules are broken or we do not see it being positive to the server we will ask for it

to be deleted. We can make this process easier for those who want to consistently upload/livestream our server. Respect of direct messages : please do not share

conversations without consent from all participants.

Socials

Advertising and promoting : Please ensure that when you are promoting and

advertising our server that there is a clear link that works to our discord and websites

in any form of description. Make sure you are also being appropriate with where you

are placing links. We ask that you don't purposely promote our server to another

server and vice versa in game or in community discords or platforms. You can message

players privately in a respectful manner. If this is violated with evidence it will result in a

ban on all platforms. DO NOT falsely claim, promote or create content of Nexus Empire

as your own or part of a separate organisation.

Chat standards on all platforms : All ways of spamming or consistent messages are

to be refrained from doing and will be acted upon when seen or informed.

Our discord server has different channels for queries or general conversation.

Our in-game chat is connected in discord as MC-CHAT we also have

GENERAL-DISCUSSION for game questions that other players can help with.

There are other channels available and if you need help locating the right one

please ask for help from our staff members. We ask that you follow the channel

guide lines. Official Client Requirement : Only official Discord clients may be used

to access the server. The use of third-party clients, mainly those that track deleted

messages or reveal information not presented by official clients, is strictly not allowed,

this is in alignment with Discord’s Terms of Service.

Officials

We ask that you listen to all Staff when being reminded about rules or instructions so

in case of a situation it can be resolved smoothly.

Do not argue with staff members; they are there to help. Staff members can also

enforce actions when necessary to make sure rules stay in place.

Make sure you think before you speak (common sense).

Nexus Empire SMP rules

These rules have been put in place to make sure the server is fair for all members

and so it is crucial that you follow them.

Community rules : 1- Community structures,

creations and close surroundings (trees and foliage etc) are not to be destroyed.

2- Forest fires, destroying large areas and floating trees are not allowed.

Make sure you replant trees.

3- When there is a structure abandoned please don't

raid or destroy it, if you wish to claim it please inform staff.

This covers all forms of adoption as well.

4- Please don't alter any body of waterunless you have been given permission.

A lot of players use it to travel. You can ask by opening a support ticket,

giving a description will make the process easier.

Building

1- You can build how you like as long as you're being reasonable and respectful

to other nearby players.

2- Do not build over other people's properties.

If you want to build next to a player make sure you ask for permission, if rejected please

respect their decision.

3- Do not build close to community structures there is plenty of

space in the world, if we see a structure that is not following this rule it will be destroyed

within 48hrs when first noticed (a sign will be placed and we will directly message you

in discord as well).

4- Players are required to Make sure you are clear with what

structures are yours. This means you need to put a sign up on a barrel with your

in-game name.This will also be useful if you have your own rules for your structures

as long as they don't override the existing rules.

5- We ask that you don't spread your

structures out around the world, keep them close together.

6- All public use structures

must be located on the main island.

7- Do not destroy or alter other players' structures.

8- There are natural structures around the world and loot chests that regenerate items,

don't destroy them, but you may take the loot.

9- You can place traps on your own

property but nowhere else in the world. This means any damage caused is at your own

fault. This includes any pets you may have.

10- When moving or changing locations you

must restore the environment to how it was originally found.

Players responsibility/actions

1- You are accountable for any actions you have taken and any entities you interact with,

Whether it is your own or other players. 2- You are responsible for understanding and

acting knowledgeable of the rules. It is mandatory that you read them. 3- If any type of

incident takes place it's up to you to resolve it instead of ignoring/being irresponsible,

if help is required please seek a member of staff as soon as you can. If you are in a

situation where something has been damaged or stolen and you don't know how it

happened please submit a support ticket and we will get back to you as soon as possible

. 4- Role play and PVP are allowed but need to be consensual, respect others decisions

when doing so.

Ownership

1- Players have full authority over their owned property, including the right to sell, trade,

or gift it to others. Unauthorised use, theft, movement, or destruction of another player's

property is strictly prohibited. Depending on the situation it may lead to a banning.

2- You only own your structures, not the land you have built on.

3- It is up to you on

whether you want players to be able to access your structures, please be clear with

placing signs and what you write on them, for example, DO NOT ENTER or

ANYONE WELCOME.

4- Anything you craft or create is yours even if it is misplaced or

picked up by another player, you must give it back.

5-Player inactivity and ownership:

5a- If you have been inactive for a long period of time,

we will contact you about when or if you will be returning, if a player is not returning

we will auction their property and items as a whole so it can be loved again

(This also happens when a player is banned).

5b- Another way you can protect your

structures and items is by placing a visible sign saying when you were last on and when

you will be returning, in that time frame you will be protected after that time period we

will then enforce section 9 5a if you have still not returned.

Banned Rules

Banning,warnings and cool down periods

Banning: If you find yourself in a situation of being banned there will be a temporary

timeframe where you can explain yourself and provide evidence or witnesses etc so

then staff members can review the situation and come up with a decision that is

acceptable. Warnings: If a member of staff catches or is informed you are breaking

one of the rules they are entitled to give you a warning and that will come with a FINE,

the fine will consist 10%, 25% and 50% of your items, this means there are 3 levels of

warnings, on your 4th offence it will end with an instant ban. Cooldown periods: If a player

continues to break (small) rules you will be given a cool down period from having access

from the server the cooldown will depend on how significant they were

(your structures and items will be protected).
